Come and see all of the great things scouting has to offer! Aviation Mall is excited to be hosting the 18th Annual Turning Point District Level Pinewood Derby and Scout Show on Saturday, March 2. The Scout Show will be held throughout the mall from Noon to 4 p.m., and The Pinewood Derby will be held in the JCPenney wing of the mall at 1 p.m.
Representatives from the Scouts, Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Venturing, Exploring, Order of the Arrow, and District and Council Leaders will be set up throughout the mall to offer demonstrations and host activities. Learn about backpacking, paper airplane making, knot tying, fudge making, camping and water safety, merit badges and much more.
Cheer on the competitors participating in The Pinewood Derby, beginning at 1 p.m. Weigh-in times are from 10:30 am to 12:30 p.m. Voting for “Best of Show” cars will begin at 12:30 p.m.
